About this Project

In 2019, Orchard Roofing & Building were contracted to complete a substantial roofing project for Colt Construction / Network Rail.

The large scale project saw our teams strip and replace over 2,500 barrel timber boards. The resulting works saw us and Sika nominated as finalists in the 2019 Liquid Roofing & Waterproofing Association (LWRA) awards within the >1000m2 category.

This entailed:

• Stripping of both Sarnafil and slate roof coverings
• Removal, and installation of 2,500 new barrel timber barge boards
• Re-slating of barrel pitches
• Application of Sika liquid coatings
