About this Project

Following substantial fire damage in January 2018, Orchard Roofing & Building were contracted by Colt Construction & Network Rail to complete a large body of restoration works within the station.

This work included:

• Stripping out of all fixtures and fittings
• The complete removal in stages of timber decked roof, timber roof joists, sky lights
• Full replacement of roof with new timber joists, decking, vapour control and final overlay with Sika liquid coatings
• New rainwater drainage system installation
• Installation of new toilet blocks
• Fixtures and fittings, including 1st & 2nd fix elecfrical and plumbing works
• Air conditioning re-installation works
• Fire stop barrier control works
• Suspended ceilings
• Final re-decoration of the station
