About this Project

Orchard was instructed to remove the roofs on station building on Platform 2 and 3.

This comprised of carefully removing and storing the reusable slates, and removing the dilapidated timber structure completely.

We proceeded to construct the new structure in traditional hand cut kings rafters and purlins with new close boarding timbers.

• New glazing to the roofs with a Twinfix system.
• The new gutter valley systems including the timber deck replaced.

The roof was re-roofed in a traditional Welsh slate to keep the authentic look to the station buildings.
